Key takeaways
- Cliff Click invited H2O World attendees to join him hacking algorithms into H2O's core, pointing to three starter tutorials as a head start.
- The three linked starter hacks covered building KMeans, Quantiles, and Grep algorithms directly into H2O's core system.
- The post said completing any of the three tutorials before H2O World would let attendees skip the download and build phase and go straight to hacking.
Interested in Hacking Algorithms with me? I’ll be at H2 O World all day Tuesday looking to join you in doing some fun hacking. Here are 3 sample starter hacks to help you get over the H2O learning curve –
Hacking KMeans Hacking Quantiles Hacking Grep All 3 take you step-by-step through the process of building a new algorithm into H2O’s core. Getting any of these done by Tuesday will let us get past the “download and build” phase and into hacking the cool stuff! See you Tuesday! Cliff
