Anna Yip

Anna Yip, the dynamic Deputy CEO of Singtel Singapore and CEO of Business Development since June 1, 2023, is a powerhouse in the telecommunications industry. Before this, she led Singtel’s Consumer Singapore division, driving strategic growth since April 2021. Anna’s journey at Singtel began in December 2020 as Deputy CEO, Consumer Singapore. Previously, she was the CEO and Executive Director at Smartone Telecommunications, steering operations in Hong Kong and Macau, and earning the title of Best Mobile Carrier in 2019. Her robust career also includes leadership roles at Mastercard in Hong Kong and Macau, and as a partner at McKinsey & Company in Greater China, where she led the Financial Institutional Group and payments practice. Anna serves on the Board of Commissioners of Telkomsel, the Board of Advisors for Singapore Management University’s Institute of Service Excellence, and is an independent non-executive director of BUPA (Asia) Limited and a Council member of the Singapore Cancer Society. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Philosophy in Management Studies from Oxford University, and a First Class Honours degree in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
