And you know, we're on each other's team – Lorde

Walking past giant anti-burner consumerist strata booths, i was struck by Lorde's recent masterpiece. The Big Data Palace needs a release. No hype, it needs product. Product is the release. The emperor has no clothes and no one seems to dare. You see the propaganda machine. Working lock-step to Strata / stage setters. Darling startups that are one slip away from being on each other's team.

Everyone is competing for the love from customers, that they won't receive. Keep focus and love your customers. Keep calm and love your team. Not the hallmark kinda love but one that's living: inspires, gets hurt, responds at all hours, one that adapts, solves problems together and builds trust. Makes meaningful experiences from data dreams. And then you know, we are on each other's Teams!
“We live in cities you'll never see on a screen
Not very pretty, but we sure know how to run things
Living in ruins of a palace within my dreams
And you know, we're on each other's team
I'm kind of over getting told to throw my hands up in the air, so there
So all the cups got broke shards beneath our feet but it wasn’t my fault
And everyone’s competing for a love they won't receive
'Cause what this palace wants is release.”
